Why is the Sat Nav not working?

Navman sat nav fell off windscreen and screen smashed is it possible to get it fixed?

• I bought a Navman Sat nav a couple of months ago. I have used it regularly. It cost me £150. I was using it tonight when the mount it was in attach to windscreen came up stuck from windscreen and the sat Nav was sent flying and the screen smashed. The sat Nav still switches on and displays every thing but only one side of the touch screen responds when you press. So can use the sat nav properly can type in postcodes and things. Do you think it would be possible to send back to Navman to be repaired, I know they would probably charge but do you think they would fix it. Has any one had this happen and done this. or does any one know if it is possible to buy a new touch screen for my sat nav So I can fix it my self. I don't really want to have to pay out £150-£200 for a new sat nav. Any advice would be much appreciated thanks in advance
