Working at an apple store?

Should i go to apple store and pretend that theres something wrong with my phone even though its working fine?

  • so im thinking about replacing my iphone 4 cause i got the firware 4.2 and i dont like cause my battery kinda sucks and if i want to jailbreak it its tetherd so its kinda complicated thats why i want to go to apple store and just pretend that theres something wrong with my phone even tho its ok so that i can get a new phone on 4.1 cause their repalcement are on pre installed 4.1 but here's the deal they already exchanged my phone twice the first time its because cosmetic problems and the second one is last one is last wednesday jan 5th i got new phone but its on 4.2 i ask the guy hey how come its on 4.2 and hes like its already pre installed but i think its not cause when he told me that hes goona repalcemnt it took him for like 15 mins so i think he updated it first?? and so pretty much they already exchanged it twice ? and im sure they have notes with so you think can i pretend again and get a new repalcement phone

    Genius Bar people are not dumb, hence the name. They will no nothing is wrong with it. Yes, there are notes and they will know what your history with the phone has been. They are used to people trying to screw them!

Ask your phone service how many times you can replace it. It seems like you have protection insurance plan. With mine I pay 5.99 for the insurance and get to replace it 3 times in the year. If you get water damage or the screen breaks, or you lose your phone some phones don't cover that. Or some plans do but you have to pay a 50 or a hundred dollar deductible and some phones cover it all which is pretty rare. If you have a bad battery they will just replace it with a new battery. You have to have a frozen phone or your buttons don't work, screen doesn't turn on to get a free replacement and that doesn't guranetee you will get the new version of the phone most likely you will get the same phone. Sometimes phone services offer discounted prices to update your phone. You should ask about it. Or sometimes you can download a higher version of your phone through your computer and USB cable.
