Will AceKard 2i work on DSi Firmware 1.4 with this guide?

  • What you will need to update your AceKard 2i Card: DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4X (1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U & 1.4A) e.g 1.3 or 1.2 OR DS Lite Console AceKard 2i Card Loaded with Standard Firmware V4.17 AceKard 2i Update for DSi 1.4 Download Here To Check Your DSi Firmware Version: Click 'Setting' on the Main Menu In the right hand corner of the top screen it will say VER 1.X STEPS: Unzip 'AceKard 2i Update for DSi 1.4.rar' you will then have two files: Updating via DSi use : ak2ifw_update_14_DSi.nds Updating via DS Lite use : ak2ifw_update_14_DSL.nds Copy the file to the root of the Micro SD memory card. Yes, you are correct..this update works perfectly, but be warned that there is a really small chance that it may damage your acekard, however, the chance of it damaging your acekard is as small as the chance being able to win the lottery twice in a row. Another warning: the icon in the menu of your DSi will not be "ak2" anymore, but will be replaced by a Danny Phantom game icon. This will not affect your acekard in any way, though.Basically, just put the file into your micro sd and open the file in your DS phat or DS lite and enjoy :)
