My Blackberry bbm isnt working?

BlackBerry PlayBook and BBM?

I just purchased my BlackBerry Playbook last night...and so far I LOVE IT! I synced my Blackberry Curve 9300 to it and hooked up the wireless and everything last night. However, I cant seem to connect the BBM..? It says that it isnt working...I click the bbm app and a message pops up saying it cant bridge? In my blackberry app world..it says I can upgrade my BBM 5.0 to 6.0 ( i believe it is 6.0). Would this be the reason why? If not, can someone let me know what to do? thanks!! the playbook gave me the barcode to bridge with my Blackberry...so I used that one.

you should absolutely upgrade BBM on your phone. that will probably fix it. also i think there is a version of the bridge app that doesn't support BBM...but try the BBM update first! i love my playbook too!
