Could I get a sidekick in Canada?

HELP! Sidekick LX or Palm Centro?

• Okay so I live in Canada and I've been craving a Sidekick for very long but I don't know where to get it. I don't want to buy it off eBay and when you buy it from the store it's expensive, very hard to get unlocked and I've been told that most features won't work...Bottom line: Too expensive for nothing?...Anyways, I could get a Palm Centro unlocked and new for 300$. I kinda like the outside but the inside is very oldish-looking...I'm very confused. I don't need the phone for work utilities. My priorities are a full QWERTY board for fast and easy texting. I never go on the internet...Anyways, that's pretty much it. Which one should I buy? If you answer Sidekick, how do I get it?!? Thanks! : )

  I have the Centro, so I can help you with that part! The cons would be; the keyboard is rather small and cramped. My hands aren't that small and I mastered it pretty fast, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with large hands. I suppose the big screen isn't too great either. Also, the speaker is just one small thing on the back and sounds odd if faced upside down on a table or something. I always face mine upside down because of that. The pros? There are so many! The touchscreen is the most obvious. The QWERTY keyboard is obviously another pro. It's extremely easy to use and simple, and you can completely customize all the menus and all that. The software that comes with it is great and it's extremely easy to sync it from your phone to computer. If you're a big texter, it's definitely a great phone for you. What I love about it is the "chat view"- where your texts are set up as a conversation (resembles an IM convo, kind of). It's durable. The battery life is nice and the pic quality is pretty nice too. The applications are great and I love pTunes.
