You have to be using the Mobile Network to use MSN and FB apps Manage Connections icon - Turn on Mobile Network MSN and FB apps will not work with wi-fi If you only have wi-fi you can access WLM and FB using the browser

when on facebook on ur blackberry go to the bottom of your home page and there is an option to 'download facebook for blackberry 8520' click on it accept t&cs and click download. and you cant download msn mine wont let me either. we have blackberry messenger on our phones though all you need is to get your friends PIN numbers and add them as you would on msn and then you can message them for free. good luck :)
