How to unlock Blackberry Storm, Verizon won't do it for me?

• So I've been researching how to unlock the Storm or really any phone, and ther only way is by paying money for an unlock code or calling Verizon and getting them to unlock it for you. I understand calling them can take a few times and using the right words really helps but I've seen a lot of people getting Verizon to do it by asking straight up, and because they're the real owner of the phone, they unlock it for them. Verizon doesn't want to unlock it for people that bought them off eBay or something but if you're the real owner, people seem to have success. Well I tried this and was told by the guy "We're not aloud to unlock it for you," and then he told me that it can't be unlocked so...do I keep calling and hope to get someone that will unlock it or what?

  Verizon employees will get in trouble for unlocking a phone for you. I doubt anyone wants to lose their job so you can have an unlocked phone. That's why you don't buy a phone off ebay. Too sketchy.
