Should I get the Blackberry Storm?

  • My parents won't get me an iPhone because my parents have Verizon and they don't want to switch to AT&T, so my aunt told me that the Blackberry storm for Verizon is like the same, but I don't know for sure. Should I get it for Christmas??? Thanks Andrea

    If touch screen is good then its ultimate pleasure to use but if it's bad it's real pain in the neck. Storm's touch screen is jagged, slow,choppy, cheesy and poky. If you buy Storm, you will not only regret , you will throw it out of window someday in frustration. At first look it seems to be nice phone but if you start using it and open few application together, everything freezes up and then you can't even shut it off you have to remove the battery (it seems thats why they have removable battery and they say its a feature) Sometimes I get call while I am playing games or watching video on iPhone, then it stops everything and I can receive the phone. But if while watching video on Storm , you get a call, it seems you get a thunderstorm with earth quick.Storm start acting so weird. I am gadget freak so I try whatever new comes to the market but Storm is worst phone I have ever used. Most of the reviews say Storm is a nice phone BUT nowhere near to iPhone. People are also complaining about its tacky touchscreen that freezes quite often and also it has pathetic color contrast. It doesn't have Wi-Fi so it lacks many features that only Wi-Fi can provide Verizon cellular network wont. Like Voip calls and remote access. So, there is nothing special about Storm its just another cheap imitation of iPhone.

ya! it looks sweet. i am just the opposite of u, i have AT&T. but i cant get the storm but i want it sooo bad!!

Get Storm if you just wanna make phone calls. Anything else you do will freeze the phone. I have heard Blackberry is not sending more phones coz of this complain they r tryin to fix this.
