Question about blackberry curve wifi ?

• Alright . so i have a blackberry curve. but i just got a new phone i like better. i got the moterola backflip. Alright so .. i like it better. but i like the blackberry for internet, i was wondering if the wifi would still work even thoough the blackberry is inactive. im wondering if i could still use it for internet cause i have wireless internet but i havent tried it yet cause im not at home right now im at my friends who doesnt have wireless. so would it work with wifi if the black berry is now cancled?
