Questions about blackberry internet & simcard?

  • I have a vodafone simcard with unlimited internet. I bought a new phone (BlackBerry) as my old phone broke, and put my vodafone simcard in the Blackberry. Turns out I need to pay for blackberry internet in order to get internet on the phone. If I buy blackberry internet on the simcard will it be unlimited? I'm confused as I already payed for the internet, but can't use it on my blackberry. If I buy blackberry internet i'll be paying for two lots of internet but only using one. What should I do?

  • Answer:

You do not have any choice in this,I'm afraid.if you wish to go on the internet then the only way you will do it is with the Blackberry Internet Service. The reason for this is simple,When Research in Motion>RIM,developed the Blackberry phone system, the programme requires you to use their system. You do not have to use it of course, you can still use Wi-Fi,but you will only get limited results, owing to you being within the proximity off your home hub/router or any hot spots you may encounter. To buy the BIS data plan, will cost you a further £5.00 per month,I am surprised that Vodafone didn't tell you all this.Still you know now, don't you.bye-bye.D.
