How Can I Convince My Parents to Get Me a Blackberry Curve?

• I'm 13 going on 14 (starting high school Fall 2012) I really want a Blackberry Curve 8530 or 9300. I feel like I have the appropriate reasons for wanting this phone but my parents don't allow me to get one. It has the Blackberry Messenger and considering that %80 of my friends having this phone, I can talk to them on the Blackberry Messenger online, I wouldn't even need an Wi-Fi plan. I would just connect to the wireless at my house. And I wouldn't pay. Also I've been studying a lot these years for a huge exam at the end of this year, to select my highschool. My grades are pretty good. (Straight A's!) And I really want to use the online services and the qwerty keyboard on the phone. My mom allows me to get it if I pay it. But my dad says that it is stupid for me to get this phone, it is okay for a spoiled child but not for me, there are people that are hungry all over the world, etc. I don't understand why they don't let me! I've been using this crap-phone since fourth grade which is almost broken. I asked if I could change my crap-phone to Blackberry Curve 8530 or 9300 (which has a reasonable price) and they said I could only change my phone to a phone that is cheap and only has to quality of texting and calling. My mom started to change her idea because my dad doesn't allow me! I need to change my phone this year because I don't wanna start high school with my fourth grade phone. Please help me convince my parents!

  I have a blackberry bold and your gonna enjoy these things for about 8months and then after that you won't want it because problems are gonna start to occur...like mines...I'm a senior in high school and I have this phone and I've had it since may and its already starting to mess up and it cost a lot on a bill...they'll charge you for anything...and you have to have insurance on the phone your gonna be outta luck...so just try a simpler phone like a android...
