How do I put a custom PSP firmware when I have 3.71 firmware?

Can i put custom firmware on my psp 2001 ?

    it depends if its a newr 2000 with the ta88v3 motherboard they cant be downgraded with pandora or mabe something wrong with memorystick http://dl.qj.net/Rain-s-UltraLite-MMS-Maker-for-5.00-M33-4-v1.2-PSP-Homebrew-Applications/pg/12/fid/25437/catid/151 << one of the easiest one just 3 clicks and wait like 7 minutes and your done. also keep in mind u cant make a magic memory stick with 64 bit xp i had that use my uncles computer and it worked with my fat and hard modded pandora
