Is Blackberry coming out with a new phone soon?

  • I am no longer under contract with my cell phone provider and I'm interested in getting a new phone. I've been using the original blackberry curve for the past 2+ years and I feel very comfortable with it. I want to upgrade to another blackberry, preferably one with: - fast internet connection - good music player - a QWERTY keypad Is there a new blackberry coming out soon? If not, what is the best option out there for me?

    The other answerer so far is giving you a false impression of the Storm. It did have problems when released, but they were soon fixed and, IMHO, it's a great phone. There should also be a new Storm out later this year, which I am waiting to see information on before deciding what to get on my next upgrade.

Blackberry just released the "Tour" on the Verizon network. I haven't used it, but I'm also considering the upgrade. From what I've read in reviews, avoid the "Storm", which is the touchscreen Blackberry - it's been causing problems for people. You have read the reviews and check on the specks on verizonwireless.com

The Blackberry Curve 8520 has just been released and is on T-mobile. It is one of the newest blackberry's. It has wifi, fast internet, music player and a keypad/keyboard.
