How can I get extra notifications on YouTube?

The notifications won't go away on my HTC Droid Eris.... help?

i just go the HTC Droid Eris on tuesday and i have 2 error notifications on my phone from youtube. it says that there was a problem with my password for two accounts. i went through the prompts and it says my password is wrong. but i can get on youtube from my phone just fine, i know the password is right. and one of the accounts was an accident and i just want to get rid of it. anyways, i pressed clear on the notification screen and they will go away but about 10 mins later they just come right back... this is very annoying. i've tried everything i can think of to get rid of them... can someone help me please?
Answer:

Could be related to the 2.1 update- the update has some bugs in it, so lots of Erises have needed to be wiped after they get the update..
