How to do HttpWebRequests from a Windows Phone 7?

Should i wait for a windows 8 phone.?

  • I currently have an iphone 4 32gb with AT&T and looking to get a windows phone. I was thinking of buying a windows 7 phone unlocked and giving my iPhone to my brother. Windows 8 is well on its way should i wait for that to come out or should i get a windows 7 phone. Also if i should get a windows 7 phone which one?

    Hi That GFX Guy, Ok (lol) obviously nobody in the comments had or even used a Windows phone 7 they are just making snap judgment, I have Recently bought myself an unlocked Windows phone 7 (Samsung Omnia 7) and I have to admit I think the Windows Phone OS is probably the MOST sophisticated Platform i have EVER used (Coming from a recent Iphone and Android Owner) the OS is so Silky smooth, NO LAG whats so ever, Lightning fast Application transition, Facebook,Twitter, and even LinkedIn...ect are all binged into a single application with LIVE notification out of the box, the UI is Visualy appealing, Fun to look at and alive, simple yet featured packed, brings Microsoft Outlook,powerpoint,Word,Excel...ect which i USE ALOT,the Appstore has 50,000 + applications which are actually growing faster than Android and iphone, the market place has all the apps i used for my Iphone (but in some ways Better), Also my Personal Favorite: TRUE MULTI -TASKING, IE10 is the worlds fastest Mobile Internet Browser, Zune is very light and very cool you can have unlimited music with the zune pass, GPS turn by turn Navigation, local Scout! BOTTOM LINE (Again coming from a IPhone and Android Owner) I Highly Recommend The Windows phone 7, its smart easy and simple yet Stuffed with features with none of the bloat ware crap you get with Android, or the annoying and boring sea of apps you get with iphone! I kid you not The Windows Phone Makes the Iphone look like crap!!

DON'T MAKE THAT MISTAKE!!! Microsoft are sooooo slow at updating themselves. They don't even have simple apps like Skype. They use Zune as their media player which is crap! They don't even have voice Google. If you switch from iPhone 4 to windows phone , you will seriously have taken 2 steps back.
