Which is a newer version Palm Pilot?

Palm Pilot?!! HELP!!?

  • Heyy...i really want to buy a palm pilot..the tungsten one and i looked it up on the palm pilot website, and it said that the tungsten palm pilot hold ony 32 MB of memory/storage? Is this possible or am i just misunderstanding the labels on the website? b/c i'm pretty sure taht a palm pilot that can hold music and video downloads as well as hold notes and addresses and reminders and alarms and internet could only have 32 MB of memory/storage. If you want clarification...you can go to this website http://www.palm.com/us/products/resources/comparison-handheld.html Scroll down to the first column where it says memory/storage and look over at the amound of memory for Tungsten. It says 32 MB...but where it says 'memory/storage' there is a tiny blue "2" and if you click on it, there is a tiny note, but i just don't understand it. Thx in advance for the help! xoxoxo

    The Palm OS is very efficient so 32MB of internal memory for programs is quite a bit. The E2 Tungsten has an expansion slot which will accomodate an SD card. This is where most of the memory intensive content will reside (mp3s, ebooks, photos, videos). I believe the E2 can recognize a 2GB SD card so you can hold quite a few songs, pictures and even movies. If you are willing to spend a little more, you can buy the TX with 128MB of internal memory, this is a lot and there is lots more you can do with this PDA as it also has built in WiFi. The TX will work with a 4GB SD card. Good luck.

I have a Tungsten. It has 32MB of built-in memory, but there is about 26MB available to the user because the operating system takes up some of it. There is a SD card slot in the top for memory expansion, so I bought a 512MB card for mine. Also, you can buy a wi-fi card that goes into the slot so you can use it to get online (as long as your near a wi-fi connection).
