How many songs can a 2 GB Micro Sandisk memory card hold?

i just bought one for my Blackberry pearl....and only have about 10 songs on it so far...i feel like its already eating up a bunch of memory....how many total songs can you usually put on a 2 gb memory card?

depending on the length and bitrate of the song, if its 128Kbps, that equals about to 1 minute of audio for 1 MB of space, so you'd have 2048 minutes, give or take. Most MP3's I've seen lately are at 192Kbps, so in that case you'd get 1365 minutes of audio. You can get anywhere from 300-500 songs on there depending on the size of the file and the length of the song. So your nowhere near hitting the limit, unless your copying raw audio data to the disk, in which case, your using about 500 MB, or a quarter of your memory card.
