• my blackberry is currently running on os 4.2.1, i tried to update to 4.5, but whenever i do, it says that my blackberry is running the latest available os. i checked the compatability on the blackberry website, and it says that my phone is compatible, is there anything i'm doing wrong, and is there another way for me to upgrade?

  I can only assume that you have Tmobile. I asked the software question to one of the Blackberry Tech support agents at Tmo. He told me that the software you download from Tmobile is the most up to date, even though it isn't the most current on the market. There are several carriers out there, and each one with its own version of the software. It would work if you downloaded the software from blackberry should work on your phone. But it may cause problems with your t-zones. Go to the link below, and select your phone. It will pop up a window, and you will have to enter your phone number. then you can download the most current version of the software. Hope this helps.
