What are some pros and cons of the Blackjack II?

Blackberry Pearl, Blackjack II, or Pantech Duo? Pros/Cons?

  • All I know of pros and cons so far is that BJ has 3G & better navigating program with a horrible battery life. Where as the pearl is smaller and is more user friendly. I will be using the phone for calls, txt, email, navigation(hopefully)!

    Blackberry Pearl - Blackberries are great devices typically geared towards the business users because it does the email, has the GPS (Need a reciever to get Voice Turn by Turn directions). It uses the BB software which is fluid and smooth to play on. They have apps to customize your BB to your liking. A good site you can google is Crackberry. They have apps/ringtones/themes/games/tip&tricks and other neat things. BJ2 - Runs Windows Mobile (which is VERY customizable). Window's device typically aren't as friendly as BB. When you close an application it just stays running in the background and you have to go find the task manager to shut it fully off or it's going to slow and bog down your device. Nice camera, GPS so all you need is the appropriate plan attached to your account ($9.99 for unlimited routes). The black is really fond of keeping your fingerprints on it. The red is pretty slick looking though. Duo - Just plain sucks. BJ2 is a way better device if you want the exact same funtionality. ALL IN ALL go with the Blackberry Curve. It is a step up from the Pearl with a full keyboard, INTEGRATED GPS (so you don't have to buy the 100$$ reciever) and is all around a better product than the pearl.
