Can we use GPRS on the iphone?

my cell service provider does not offer EDGE services, there is only GPRS available. Will I be able to use GPRS on the iPhone? Also is there any way I can view and edit my Word and Powerpoint documents on iPhone?

I'm not sure about the GPRS issue, but I would tend to believe it would be possible ... its just even slower than an EDGE network though. You can view MS Word documents on your iPhone but you cannot edit them from the phone itself (its basically just a 'view only' option). Powerpoint is not yet been scaled to the iPhone, so you cannot view those files. From what I've heard though there is a group of Mircosoft nerds in the Mac Division that are coming up with an iPhone version of MS Office that will allow viewing and editing on the phone. As of yet though this is still something that will be released in the far future ...
