What do I need for my PSP?

PSP.......... I'm not sure if I need a new battery or what?

  • Ok so I havent played my PSP in forever,and I finally go to plug it ino the computer but It dosent do anything Iv lost my charger too.So I guess I have two questions. 1. do you think It's the battery thats broken or should I just buy another PSP charger 2. I know this is going to sound stupid but what is a PSP battery charger for? Is it for PSP battery's that wont charge when you plug in the PSP to a wall charger? please answer, thanx -RZILLA12

    ok first question. do you have a psp slim or fat? second question, you say the battery wont charge when plugged into a wall? so you can only play the psp with the charger in? in that case buy a new battery ( i would say get the double battery if ur gonna buy a new one) Also as to your 2nd question, the charger charges the battery(if ur battery is working) and can power the psp f there is no battery, and lastly some firmware updates require the charger plugged in, although there are ways around this.

yes, you need a battery charger.. and it is used to power up/juice up the battery so your PSP can turn on...
