How do I upgrade my blackberry 8100?

I have a Blackberry 8100 from T-mobile and the phone dealer said that the blackberry can act as a modem?

  • I have a Blackberry 8100 from T-Mobile and the phone dealer said that all i have to do is download the software that came with the blackberry , and just connect the blackberry to a labtop and there i have internet , but i did and no internet , so i went to the blackberry website and i looked but the information was to hard , so i need lots of help to get the blackberry internet working on my labtop while im on the road douing my buissness , plus so that my nephews don't get board and hey don't say that you can't get internet from a blackberry because i real alot of info and all the blackberrys can give a labtop good internet
