Some pocket PC help?

I need help selecting PDA. (pocket pc)?

  • I am trying to find a good PDA (pocket PC) to use in nursing school. I plan on downloading programs to it such as drug guides, and disease guides to use while in my clinicals so I can have it in my pocket and not tote around the drug book. I would also like it to have wifi and word programs. Does anyone know which PDA will be a good one to use for this? I also need it to be quick, and I don't plan on getting one that is also a phone. Thanks.

  • Answer:

Hi. I've used PalmOS-based handhelds for a couple of years now and have seen a whole lot of programmes, calculators, databases and dictionaries for doctors and nurses on the net - many of them GPLed (a.k.a. freeware). So, a Palm is a pretty natural choice fo your trade. Regards, Axel
