recently bought a blackberry pearl 8100 from suncom and it's locked. Does anyone know how to unlock a blackberry pearl 8100 and where I can get an unlocking number for my phone?

You must've checked the item description. Anyway, just take it to the nearest cellphone store, I'm sure they could fix it (for something like $20 or so). Or just bring it to mine (if you're in queens), lol. BUT, don't try to fix it yourself. You might harm the OS, which'll cost you way more. Good Luck, By the way, if you can, return it, because I doubt that anybody ever (who has any sense of mobile features), would hate it. I do.

If you are referring to unlocking the device for use on another carrier's network, then you will either need to get the unlock code from SunCom, or you will need to pay a vendor to get the code for your. I recommend GSMPhoneSource.com.
