Blackberry Pearl from AT&T?

Should I buy a used Blackberry Pearl from a friend for $150?

• My friend is offering his Blackberry Pearl for $150... which seems like a good deal... but before buying it... Can someone convince me to get the Blackberry Pearl? I mean, I own a Sidekick 3 and I'm just about had it with the constant restarts, backlight never turns off even if I set it to 15 sec., never having to end calls with the end button... Ugh it's just #^!@. I had it for about a year now... so I think it's time for a different phone before I can get my hands on the iPhone once it gets EDGE. So can people tell me the positive things and also the negative things about the Blackberry Pearl? I've had the Blackberry 7100t... so I understand the Blackberry's standards. Thanks in advance.

  Ok the blackbery pearl is a very nice little device first i think its an extremly good price they cost around 300+ maybe 250 on ebay but the phone is great i used to own one but i was getting bored with it so moved to a moto rizr. THE IPHONE IS JUNK!!!!! ok everyone thinks its awesome but honey it aint! i messed wid the cingular store model and it was crap youtube was dead slow youtube did not work with the wifi only on the cingular web and the viodoes dont work it had sxchool of rock preloaded and it was horrible quality so no iphone its terrible but eventually thye will get dat fixed but its still egde ur waiting for 3G which is faster but anywya blackberry is awesome ALOS check the condition of the fone f its scratched up then decline it
