Help Upgrading PSP 3001?

Hi, just asking question what's the best firmware for psp 3001? coz i have psp 3001 v3 motherboard, cfwe 3.60, chickhen mod 3, running 5.03 mhu, my question is can i upgrade my psp from 5.03 mhu to 5.03 GEN-C directly? if so, what do i need? do i need to install mhuspeed3? or run directly the gen-c without chickhen r2 or mhuspeed 3? pls help... i'm confused
