How is it on the blackberries when you put your hand above the phone where the ambient light sensor the screen?

^^^^^^^^ goes dim but when I do it to my iPod touch and iPad 2 the screen doesn't dim like on the blackberrys ?

Answer:
You might have your blackberry on 'automatically dim backlight' Settings>Screen Display> then just scroll down till you get to the backlight options and see if you have it on automatically dim backlight or not.

Because the ipod touch and ipad 2 arent ment for calling! the blackberry does that when you put your ear on it and dims the screen!
