How to make a PSP run faster?

Should I buy a video player or a PSP???

• I don't really play games and I can't afford PSP games anyway, but when I look at the screen size of portable video players compared to the impressive 4" screen on the PSP it just doesn't make sense to me. I can buy a brand new PSP with some memory for £150 or a video player with a puny 2" screen for over £200. What am I missing here?! I don't think I need more than about 1GB of storage but is there a cheap video player with a good screen and good sound for less money than a PSP? Also, does anyone know if it's possible to run emulated games on the newer PSP's? I remember that people did that with the first generation of PSPs but Sony changed something in the hardware to prevent it.

  I would totally choose the PSP because its got everything!! music, games, videos, camera and ineternet and many more!! PSP is also like a video player coz you can put videos on it and dont worry about the expensive games coz there is a solution. I have a PSP and you dont need a UMD to have a game. All you need is a Memory stick with high memory and look for PSP game downloaders. Its very cheap coz you get to download games from the computer. The PSP is very very worth it! trust me. I bout an IPOD video and it sucks! The PSP is way much more better and very worth it. Even though its expensive, you wont regret it. But if you can w8 for a little longer than you can buy the New handheld game that Ninetendo will be releasing. I hear its better than the PSP but I trust SONY more. But its up to you.
