Why does my psp keep on freezing?

• I bought my psp brand new some time in september. many times when i play it, it completely freezes. i haven't put in any memory stick, so the only thing i ever do on my psp is play grand theft auto vice city stories. i have noticed it starting to freeze around two to three weeks after i bought it. i threw away my receipt and i had a sixty days to return it if anything was wrong. i play my psp any where from one to two hours a day, and sometimes less. i always turn it off after playing. my questions are 1. do you know what is wrong with my psp? 2. if i have to return my psp, do you think my 60 day thing is up? 3. will the store let me return my psp even if i no longer have the receipt? thank you.

  Well your 60 days might be up, but im not really good at math. Anyway, one reason it might be freezing is if you dropped it. Although, it might be because you are missing the cover to where the battery goes. If you are not missing it then im clueless, but if it is gone then that is most likely why. You can fix that with duck tape or a rubber band. My friend's PSP is like that. You may not be able to return it, but some stores will definitely buy it from you.
