What can I do to fix my blackberry curve 8520?

QUICK HELP! blackberry curve 8520 froven on the 'e' on start up screen, how can I fix this:'-(?

Basically, the loading black clock came up in the middle of my screen and took AGES to go away so I pulled out the battery, placed it back in as usual and it froze, Ive pulled the battery out numerous times but it just keeps freezing and it's really annoying me now! Me and my father have tried restarting it on safe mode, didn't work, and tried using other ways but their all failing! we don't know what software's are on my blackberry and we really stuck and need help! I need my phone to work ASAP I don't mind wiping it, as long as it works, PLEASE If you know, help! Thankyou guys:D<3

try turn it on while plugging in the charger.If this works it means that you battery is dead and need a new one as the battery is not holding enough voltage to power it up...battery is one of the biggest flaws in Blackberry..
