Why they are known as smartphones is because they can support other applications from thrid party developer and can host a lot of add on software unlike the normal phones which come only with sandbox applications. Nokia E61i is a very capable smartphone which hosts not only Blackberry push mail service but also 7 others. It has got a QWERTY keypad and a dedicated button for mails.
