Why cant i see my icons pictures on my iphone?

Whilst i was rearranging my icons on my iphone all of the pictures on my icons went missing. I can still see the text under the icons and when i tap where the icons pictures should be it still opens my apps up. But all of the icons on my dock - the pictures are visible, and when i switch my icons round, which ever ones are on my dock you can see the pictures (like the pic of a phone or the calendar page with the date on) I want my icon pictures back! PLEASE HELP!!!
Answer:

You can try turning the iPhone off and back on. If that doesn't work plug it into iTunes and it should sync. If that doesnt work you can always reset your iPhone (back it up first) from iTunes. Hope this helps! :)
