Can I connect my blackberry to the home internet?

If i buy a blackberry on pay as you go - do i have to pay to connect to wifi or my home internet connection?

  • Answer:

No. However, data usage will be included. For example, if you have a download allowance of 5GB per month. Using your BlackBerry will make up part of this allowance. Be careful not to go over your limit. You will not be charged from your credit on your phone though. Make sure when using the internet, 1) WiFi is on and connected to your home network, otherwise the phone will connect to your networks providers network, ie; Orange, O2 On pay as you go this will cost a lot of money. 2) Make sure that you don't use your phone outside of your home networks range, this will also mean that it will connect to your network providers network. Costing money. Hope this Helps =)

I don't think so because you are using your home internet connection. It's like connecting another computer to the internet. But you must have a wireless router.
