How do i update my sidekick lx?

Does anyone know when the OTA update for sidekick lx will hit los angeles?

    well i live in los angeles 2 inglewood n e ways i talked to a t-mobile representative just last night and he sed that they will send it to your sidekick lx in its mail (tmail) which is on ur phone and it should self download by the end of july. you record videos and watch videos and thats all i know hope i helped out

The update doesn't reach an area at a set time, it is being sent out to phones randomly. Each day the update is sent out to random phones, so it may take up to a month for every LX to receive the OTA.
