What are the pro and cons of the BlackBerry Pearl?

Verizon wireless blackberry curve vs. blackberry pearl?

• Hi, im eligible for a new phone through verizon wireless and i narrowed my searches to the blackberry curve or the pearl. Based on your opinions what is a better phone and what the pros, and cons are of the phone. thanks.

  Well I just got my BB Curve from Verizon in January and I love it! This is my first "smartphone". I like how it's more than just a phone for me. I love that I can check my email, go on the web, listen to music, text, chat, do searches, get directions, read the news, and alot of extra stuff just from my phone. Don't know much about the Pearl. I didn't get the Pearl cause of the size (just too small for the hand) and because it didn't have the same keyboard that the Curve has. The Curve has all the letters on its own individual button. I also like that the screen is bigger. Makes for better, IMO, for looking at videos, email, directions, etc... Just some lil things I don't like but weren't a deal breaker was 1> You can't add a signature to your sms 2> You can only set up 1 alarm at a time. I like to get up at different times on the weekday/wknds so I have to reset it each time. 3>No tip calculator 4>No easy access to "my verizon" like on my motorola. Overall Im glad I got the BB Curve! It will definately take you awhile to figure out how things work and how to totally get it the way you need it to. Plus a great website to check out is www.crackberry.com They have alot of tips, tricks, cool stuff, etc... Well whatever you choose I hope you enjoy your new phone!
