Answer:
I have the BlackBerry Curve (8520) I just got it a few weeks ago. I absolutely love it. Prefer it to the iPhone, mostly because I don't like touch screens and the actual phone on the iPhone isn't very good. Having a BlackBerry yet still having an Apple Macbook isn't a big deal to me. Anyway... I love texting too and I love the QWERTY keyboard on the BlackBerry. It makes texting so much easier! One cool feature of the BlackBerry is that if you miss an apostrophe or don't put a capital I when talking about yourself, it automatically corrects it for you! I thought it would be difficult getting used to the small keys but from day 1 it didn't give me any problems at all. Another good thing is the MP3 player. The sound quality is surprisingly good and you can plug your headphones in without having a special pair of them (my old phone needed special headphones to listen to music). The BlackBerry comes with a 2GB memory card which is perfect for holding loads of songs. The internet is super fast, I don't have a data plan but I can connect to WiFi networks for free and surf in places like coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, libraries and at my University which was really important for me. It has apps like the iPhone so you can use Facebook, Twitter, Wordpress, MySpace and stuff really quickly and easily. It also has a web browser for sites such as Y!A and your e-mail. You can sync your e-mail with your BlackBerry but I think it costs a little more. The camera isn't great in the BlackBerry but it's really quick and suits me fine. The Curve doesn't have a flash which can be a problem, but the camera wasn't a big issue for me so I'm not overly fussed. Other cool apps include DrifeSafe.ly which reads your text messages to you whilst you're driving, and sends an autoreply to the person who texted you saying "Sorry, I'm driving, I've heard your message and will reply as soon as possible"! You can also download themes and stuff so your BB looks pretty, haha. BB Messenger is really cool, it's an IM service just for people with BlackBerries. I love it. Another thing is when you add a contact, it syncs with your Facebook so that it automatically grabs their picture and contact details and stuff. When you call someone, or when they call you, it comes up with their Facebook pic! BBs also have Voice Dialing so you can press a button, say someone's name and it calls them. It recognises names really well. Hope this helped in your decision!

to answer your question the phones you've listed above are all the same, its just they all have different features. one has wifi, one has GPs & the 8300 is just a regular phone without either. so depending on what is more important you can make a choice of which phone you want. all they phone have the same keyboard and i have one as well, texting on it is a dream and very fun i love it. The speakerphone is decent its nothing amazing or something you would want to use a whole lot. This phone can play music on it but the music player is pretty back, and it is nothing like an ipod. it is just basic categories for your music. well since the internet is on a phone it is going to be slower, you cant expect it to load at the same speed your computer does, but blackberrys internet speed is pertty good in my opinion. And the camera isint great but its not terrible, some pictures come out blurry and pixalized, but you just have to take your time when taking a picture and they will come out lookin pretty good. i have this phone and the only cons i can think of is that the screen cracks easily if you walk into the corner of a table by accident, but its just the plastic cover before the screen. mine the little silver ring that holds in the trackball has broken a few times. sometimes the trackball get gunk in it and the ball will stop rolling a certain way, and if you spin the phone too much you will wreck that back of it, like i have done with mine. other then that this phone is awesome to use overall and i would recommend it. but if your able to i would recommend one of the newer blackberrys because they have a great operating system that is better

Blackberry Storm 2 is the best option for you if you love touch screen phones. It has all the options you mentioned in your question and the best thing about Blackberry storm is, it has a clickable touchscreen. Yes you can feel the click right on the touch screen just like you click a normal button. It has a large screen with a 360 x 480 pixels, 3.25 inches display. It has a mp3/WMA/AAC+ player You can also surf internet much faster when compared to other blackberry phones. It is worth to wait if it is not available in AT&T. Some people said it is available in AT&T. Some said it will be available soon. I would recommend you to buy this one. If you want a little bit cheaper one with almost same configuration, go for Blackberry Storm (1).
depends you should try them all out and see i have a pearl 8110 an AT&T and i think its perfet though it doesnt have one letter per key the keys are bigger than on the curve and with sure type the phone remembers how you type plus you can program a whole bunch of hot keys and commands like i can type in 2 letters and the phone will spit out my entire email address.

I'm with ATT and love my Bold. I had a Curve (8310 I think) and the Bold is much better! So much faster. A bit larger, but well worth it. Also, if you love to text, you have to have QuickText for the BlackBerry. No matter what you do, at least try QT: http://www.berryreview.com/2008/08/19/quicktext-speed-dial-for-sms/
