    The BlackBerry 9500 is the GSM version of the Storm, while the BlackBerry 9530 is the CDMA version of the Storm. I don't think the official specifications for the Storm 9500 are out yet, as there may be some other hardware differences. I would think the Storm 9500 would come with Wi-Fi, as GSM networks are generally slower than CDMA.

I have the 9500 =) I live in Europe, yes I think that is the only diffrence is the GSM. GSM uses less power than CDMA and it doesn't have WiFi it is the same phone =) Edit. GSM is a lot faster than CDMA... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3.5G#Wireless_System_Evolution as you can see in Europe we have 3.5g while in the US you're still on 2.75g not even 3g yet xD HSDPA covers somthing about %80 of Spain now and GSM is %99
