How do you put extra memory in a blackberry 7100g? How do you put media on it?

time to upgrade to a new blackberry....

erm... no and no. On a 7100-series you can't do either. There is no memory card slot, and the only way to get media on it (which is pics only, BTW) is to use Bluetooth with you computer.

While there is no way to add additional storage to the 7100g (no microSD memory card slot), there is a way to add pictures and ring tones to it via the Desktop Manager's Media Manager. In order for Media Manager to see the BlackBerry, the BlackBerry must be running device software 4.2 or higher. The 7100g ships with handheld software 4.1. I don't recommend transferring too many, though. Being that all media files will be stored in the device's main memory, you don't want to add too many or you will have memory issues.
