I have t-mobile. I want a treo 650...can I unlock a treo.?

If I can get a cingular treo 650 unlocked can I then slide my sim card in and get a datta plan from T-mobil or am I SOL on getting a treo and staying with t-mobile. Part 2, IF it is possible. then how do I get a treo unlocked, the guy at the mall said he couldnt unlock a treo.

Yes you can.. I bought an unlocked Treo from cingular and have been using it on t-mobile for almost two years now..
