How can I back up my BlackBerry 8820?

Palm Centro vs. Blackberry Curve or Blackberry 8820?

  • I need true, honest reasons for your suggestions. I'm trying to decide between a Blackberry Curve, and a Palm Centro. I really, really like the look of the Palm Centro, it's so much cuter, and less "business-like". I'm only a student, so I don't really need a lot of high end bits. I don't need GPS, I really don't even need email. I'm not too fond of the blackberry trackball, but the Palm's small keyboard is a downer too. I need a phone with good looks, GREAT texting abilities (i.e, a good keyboard), and good battery life. I also need them to have AT&T plans. I know the keyboard on the palm in smaller, but it's also not as bulky, business-like, etc...all the input you can give is great. Thanks so much. =]

    i would say the curve. i have a curve and i love it. since you wont use it for the way it was made internet videos web etc get the palm thingy. the trackball is great a must . i alway say get a berry but its not for you the curve isnt business like the 8820.

I have a Curve and I absolutely love it. I'm a student too and people always compliment my phone. The trackball is great on it also. If your a big texter like I am then this is a great phone for you. The keys are easy and the texting is really easy to get used to. Plus there are a lot of applications you can add! Hope this helps!

to be honest with you neither one has good battery life. i love the palm, just because its so easy to navigate. with the blackberry you have to have the blackberry internet service which is also an extra charge on top of your phone bill. another feature i really liked on the palm was that you can have it on, but turn the phone feature off, so if you were in a meeting or something you dont have to power down the whole unit. as far as keyboards go, i liked the palm again because its very user-friendly. if you get the blackberry i would reccomend the red one, and also the black or pink palm centro. hope i helped!

Definitly the Palm Centro!!!! I have the Palm Centro (AT&T) and I love it!! The web browser is Great!!! much better than the Blackberry Pearl's web browser!..The typing takes some getting used too (an hour tops) but it's still better than the Pearl's ...The Palm interface is very user-friendly and much easier for texting,email, and web browsing than the Pearl. The Centro has a touchscreen too which is really cool!! The Palm Centro is an EXCELLENT phone,( Soooo easy to use,ENORMOUS amount of features, Google maps, Telenav, and so much more... it's just great all around) You will have so much fun with it, figuring out all the cool things you can do! ....I HIGHLY recommend the PALM CENTRO over the Blackberry Curve

thats the exact same question i had a couple days ago.. i sold my iphone, and needed a phone to tide me over until the new iphone comes out in july.. so i decided on the glacier white model of the palm centro. it should be coming in the mail any day now and im soooo excited!! i dont know much about it though..
