Does pantech duo have gps?

How and where can i crop a mp3 song down to 15 sec. then save it so that i can sync it to my pantech duo?

  • I just got the pantech duo. I found out that in order to put mp3 songs on it you had you crop it to 15 seconds. Well, I was wondering if doing so really works for the pantech duo? And if so how & where? The thing is that I cannot receive text messages and i cannot get on the internet through my phone, there for i can only sync it from my computer. Please, I need specific details on the directions. Thanks.

    Go to; http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ and get the FREE Open Source audio editor. Select the clip and EXPORT as MP3. You will have to accept a .dll file download only the first time. Next, go to; http://www.microsoft.com/WINDOWSMOBILE/ACTIVESYNC/DEFAULT.MSPX select the correct program that will create the interface between the PC and the device. Drag/drop the MP3 to the device \Windows\Rings\ folder. It MUST be in that folder to appear in the select drop down when you select the ring tone to use. Hope that helps.
