My Micro sd card will not work with my new phone. Why?

Why won't my Micro SD card work on my new phone?

When I instert my Micro SD card it says 'files are found in unsupproted directory. please move them to the proper dicrectory" ... What do I do?!?!?!
Answer:

You need to reformat your SD card in your phone. If you want to save the files on it, copy them to your computer first. Then put your card into your phone and get the phone to format it, then you can copy files back onto it from your computer. Be sure to put them in the correct places based on how your phone has set up your card.
