Blackberry Bold 9700 or the iPhone 3Gs?

Should i get an iphone 3GS or blackberry bold 9700?

  • i want a phone for personal use. i have tried texting with an iphone and i keep pressing 2 letters instead of 1. ive heard the web browsing in bb is slow but im not going to use it all the time. but the iphone sounds way cooler but the price plans are more expensive. iphone has more apps as well. web browsing in an iphone is so much faster and the screen is bigger. my cousin has a bb and he seems fine with it. so.....HELP??

  • Answer:

I have an iPhone 3G S and a Blackberry Bold 9700. If you just want it for personal use, go with the iPhone. If you want something for texting or business, go with the Bold because I can't stand typing without a physical keyboard. Texting is easier on the Blackberry. If you like Apps, yes. Go with the iPhone. Web browsing isn't that bad on the Bold; it's good. Anyways, it sounds like you have more positives for the iphone than the blackberry bold in your question, but just get what you feel like. Try them both out at a best buy or at&t store. Keep using them until you feel which one is the best for you. Hope I helped out.

Yup,it is no doubt that getting an iphone is wise choice nowadays.I think you can easily find more and more people almost own their iphone.Of course so do I.so I recommend you to get one.Or you can borrow one from your friends and have a try.

here is a full compare between them: http://www.jawal123.com/PublicPages/Compare.aspx?IDs=-717782326_401925235_ as you see the iPhone is better in entertainment while blackberry is better in businees, so it depends on your interests Good luck!

Overall, iPhone 3GS is better.. It has a bigger memory, long life battery, a smooth screen and browser, a nice body and materials, etc..

I had problems with typing on the iphone too (a few months back when choosing which phone to get) so i went with the blackberry instead. boy, do i regret that. I had heard nothing but good things about the blackberry but it just does not compare to the iphone. The internet browsing was SO slow, even though it was the bold which has 3g. Not being a touch screen is really difficult sometimes. I feel like they were so popular for so long for business use, but the iphone has it all + some. The apps are endless, the screen is nice and large and clear. Also, apps on the blackberry are all like 5-10 bucks and do not even come close to comparing with the iphone ( i have an ipod touch, and just love all the apps) My blackberry also constantly froze and had bug problems. It would say error at random times when i needed my phone the most. I went through about 3 in a month. My sister has it too and also experiences these problems. Basically, yes the iphone is hard to type on but honestly, you get used to it. As far as i know, both plans require a $30 a month data plan, so im not sure why you say the iphone is more, but i could be wrong. One more thing, if you get the iphone make sure you get a case! One bad thing about the iphone is that if you need a new one, its $800 bucks! compared to half that for a new blackberry. I'd reccomend the speck candyshell. Oh, and no matter which case you get, Amazon.com is the best place for all your accessories! Don't buy them at the At&t store. (for the record, after going through 3 blackberry bolds, a samsung jack, i ended up with the impression. *not a smartphone, but honestly, easier to type on, and does everything the other things do minus all the awesome apps. i'd pick the impression anyday over the blackberry bold. hope this helps!
