How Can I Fix The Scratches On My PSP Screen?

How do I fix the scratches on my PSP screen?

  • I've seen videos like this >http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vE1gvaM3iAs They use Peanut Butter, and Tooth Paste and other stuff too. So If I take off the face plate of my PSP, would this fill in the scratches? If not, are there any other ways to fix the scratches? I know there are some Lens Cleaning Solutions for glasses, would that work? Or how about my cleaning solution for my contacts?

  • Answer:

The shop you bought it from will not help you.And neither will Sony. I got a small scratch on mine and they wouldn't replace it All that toothpaste, peanut butter stuff does is to help scratches that are not deep. Each of those things are kind of rough in texture and "sand" away at the entire screen until the whole thing is level with the first scratch. There are places you can go to to have them replace that thin piece of whatever in front of the lcd, but it costs about $50 to $80. I'd say to live with the scratch because replacing the screen voids your warranty. And you might want to keep that incase something worse happens. I don't know it's up to you really. I chose to live with it as annoying it can be but when my warranty is gone i'll get it fixed.
