Which blackberry pearl is the newest one?

Blackberry Pearl or Blackberry 8800 for those who have one and done the research?

  • having a hard time deciding which one to get ..I'm looking for people who have done extensive research on these two models..and can offer me some advise on which one to get.

    Well, currently I own the pearl...The don't offer the 8800 for my carrier, but I've researched and compared the 2. If you want a GPS, then go with 8800. If you want a camera, go with the pearl. The battery life is slightly greater on the 8800, than the pearl, but the 8800's a bigger phone too. The 8800 has a full QWERTY keyboard, the pearl has a QWERTY but there are 2 letters to a key, however with SureType, it's not too much of a problem. The base features are the same, speakerphone, media player, web browser, etc. It boils down to whether you want to have a camera or a GPS.
