Is jailbreaking safe? How do i do that,?

Jailbreaking is safe it's not illegal or anything and they've fixed all the bugs I have a jailbroken 3GS as well to jailbreak simpley go to jailbreakme.com on your iPhone and follow the steps on the screen

oh god! I WOULD BE VERY VERY CAREFUL...my friend offered to jailbreak my ipod and it looked super cool....so me being the dumb one said ok and handed him by ipod....the jailbreak crashed my ipod and deleted all music from my ipod and my computer...it.was.the.most.awful.experie… if your going to do it prepare yourself for the worst. its VERY risky..dont make the same mistake i did
