Is there any other way besides wall charger to charge PSP?

I have a psp but lost my charger is there any other way i can charge it. i tryed a usb but not light came on?

i cannot put psp on usb mode because it has simply got no battery

when you use the usb cord, plug up your laptop computer if you have one while it charges leave it alone
