Should I Get a BlackBerry or an iPhone?

  • My parents promised me way back in January that if I did well this year and did something exceeding their expectations, they would get me a new phone, and I did, so yeah, I'm going to get one. Anyways, I used to have a BlackBerry Onyx 9700 for a few months, but when I moved overseas I had to sell it and now I have the crappiest phone ever - it takes five minutes to send a single text, and it hangs up in the middle of calls. I liked the BB Onyx, and it was easy to type with and simple to use. But on the other hand, an application called Kakao Talk (Korean version of Whats App, but it's slowly gaining popularity), is popular, and it's an iPhone AND BB compatible application. The thing is, on BB, it's only available as a Beta version, which my friend (a BB user) says is a bit lag-ish. I'm confused about which phone to get, an iPhone or a BlackBerry? Both have good applications, but I'm honestly not sure which is better to get. And if you choose a BlackBerry, would you choose: 1) a Torch 9810? 2) a Bold 9780? 3) a Bold 9900? If you chose an iPhone, which would be better? 1) an iPhone 4? 2) an iPhone 4S? (my friends said there's not much of a difference, but I'm not sure!) Thanks~ I realize my question's a bit confusing and disorganized, but I hope you can help ^^

    Yes! I'm on an iPhone right now, and it is the bomb! I just upgraded from an Android and before that I had a BlackBerry, so I know where you're coming from.. And seriously, nothing beats the iPhone 4S it's like Jesus in your hand :) And BlackBerrys, no offense, I think are the worst phones I hated mine, it always deleted my messages and it was just too big. And I didn't like Android because there's too many of them and they break super fast like after 2 months they start to slow down & after 6 months they just stop trying to function, seriously. I say go for the iPhone 4S its battery life is amazing, it last for Years & it has Siri & iTunes & all the apps you want/need :) Well hope this helps, and enjoy your new phone... Which ever one you decide :)

iPhone 4s. Your friends are insane. There is so much of a differance it's unbelievable. There are two processors (makes it run faster), 8 mag pixel camera, and the best... SIRI. Siri is a voice controller that knows what your thinking. If you get locked out of your house. No probkem! Jut tell Siri and she will tell u about 5 places to call or go to. She is awesome. She can just about anything. And reminders is cool. Tell you can do a reminder for when you get to a place, cuz it knows where it is.

I bought Apple iPhone 4G unlocked. I received a new sealed iphone (in the u.s.), everything was ok but the earphone was not working. I returned back the phone and in less than 24 hours later they ship me back a new one. These guys have an excellent customer service. I'm using this iphone in Brazil and it works fine with TIM mobile. I strongly recommend this iphone4. It's a great phone !
