Why can't I send a picture message on my blackberry?

How do you send a picture from blackberry 8100?

  • i have the black blackberry 8100 and i do not know how to send a picture that i have taken on my camera to another person. i know that i can send it through bluetooth but i was wondering if there is any other way i can send it like through a message like any other phone can??? and i dont have internet so i cant send it through email.. if anyone knows how i would appreciate knowing... thnx. =)

    Only other way is with MMS. Press your menu key on a contact from your address book or locate picture on your phone and open picture, and select MMS. Attached Picture and send. Check with your carrier to see if additional charges may apply . I have T-mobile with unlimited sms and mms. Check your plan to see if MMS is included.

And in order to use MMS messaging you need a BlackBerry data plan, or MediaNet plan (if using AT&T).
