Why won't Blackberry icon go away?

Blackberry: Why won't this notification icon (app world?) go away?

• This stupid little icon is just sitting on my blackberry homescreen and it won't go away. It looks like a black circle with a white outline, and has a white arrow pointing south west in it. There is a little red star on it. When I turned my phone on it was there, and on my main menu there was also a red star on the corner of my blackberry app world, so I updated the only two things I have downloaded from it (facebook and bbm), but the stupid icon hasn't gone yet. I've looked all throughout the appworld application to try and find something that needs updating but there isn't anything. How can I make it disappear, please help, it's so annoying :(

  Well if you click the bar in between the search and ringtone icon, it will bring the notification bar which will show you what it is exactly. It could be an update to the appworld or even a software update. Other than that I have no idea.
